Catherine Shipley
I studied Chinese at university and spent a year in Urumqi, Xinjiang, during that time. After graduating, I have worked in various roles with a connection to China, from working for an import company, liaising with Chinese suppliers, to working for educational institutions. I also spent a year in Taipei studying Chinese. Currently I am able to travel to China regularly as part of my job. I have enjoyed observing many changes that have taken place in China over the years and in different regions.
