Weiyan Li

Weiyan Li is a PhD candidate at Beijing Normal University and a CSC-sponsored Visiting Postgraduate Researcher (2025–2026) at the University of Leeds’ Centre for New Chinese Writing. Her research focuses on modern Chinese children’s literature translation and writer-translator dynamics, specifically investigating how translation and creative writing shape and influence one another.
