Rebecca Ehrenwirth
Rebecca Ehrenwirth studied Sinology, English Literature and Chinese Art and Archaeology at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. She wrote her Ph.D. thesis on "Sinophone Literature in Thailand" in which she analyzed and translated more than 300 short stories and poems from Chinese into German. In September 2017 she will start a Teaching Fellowship at the NYU Shanghai. Her research focus is on Contemporary Sinophone Literature and Postcolonial Literature.
