Lin Su

Lin Su is a Ph. D researcher in the Department of Literature, Theatre and Film Studies at the University of Essex. Her research interests include global modernism, poetry and translation and women's writing. Lin Su's Ph. D project, fully funded by China Scholarship Council, investigates place-bound identities in Anglophone modernism, with a focus on T. S. Eliot, William Carlos Williams and Marianne Moore. Lin Su is a member of the British Association of Modernist Studies and the British Association of Chinese Studies. Her translations of Chinese contemporary poet Zhang Yangyang and Tang poetess Yu Xuanji (with co-translator Simon Everett) appear in Chinese Arts and Letters and Creel 3 respectively. Lin Su also edits Essex's online multi-disciplinary academic journal ESTRO.
