Prof Yao Suping

Suping Yao is a Professor and Visiting Researcher affiliated with the Leeds Centre for New Chinese Writing, University of Leeds. Her research covers contemporary Chinese children’s literature and comparative studies of Chinese and international children’s literature. She holds a completed National Social Science Fund of China project graded Excellent, and created the national first-class undergraduate course Children’s Literature. She has authored three academic monographs and published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles in her field.
