In association with EARS (the East Asian Research Society), we're delighted to be hosting author, editor, and translator Xueting Ni as part of her Sinophagia Tour, discussing Chinese horror, just in time for Halloween! The tour is to mark the launch of Sinophagia: A Celebration of Chinese Horror, published this month by Solaris Books, and translated and edited by Xueting.
The event will be in the form of a Q&A, talking about the history of Chinese horror, and the development of the book, with time for audience questions, as well as the chance to get a taste of a couple of the spooky stories from the collection!
Refreshments provided, and copies of the book will be available.
The event is free, but please sign up here.
We'll also be featuring the collection on our Bookclub in October, and on our Book Review Network, so keep an eye out for more horror-related discussion!
And if you can't make the Leeds event, you can find out more about the Sinophagia Tour on Xueting's website.
