Don’t Call Me China Doll
Friday 20 March 2026 • 7:30pm • Stage One
Diana Feng brings the legacy of Anna May Wong to life in a performance full of humour, honesty and incredible physicality.
It’s bold, it’s relevant and it’s happening right here at the theatre on campus: stage@leeds.
Diana's debut one-woman show explores the intricacies of internalised racism and self-worth.
A compelling exploration of identity, discrimination and progress, it prompts audiences to reflect on how and why East Asian artists still face the same barriers as they did a century ago.
Expect sharp comedy, emotional depth and a story that sparks conversation long after the performance ends.
Student discount available -- see website for details!
This performance is part of spring up, two weeks of cultural events on campus from 11–21 March.
It’s the perfect chance to explore something new! 👀
(While this is not a Centre event, we are delighted that Stage@Leeds are bringing this performance to our campus, and happy to support!)
