The SinoLEEDS Festival - From 书 to Book
- Date
- Wednesday 11 October 2023, 1pm - 6pm
Curious about the journey a Chinese book takes on the road to translation? Everything from original creation to translation and publishing?
We're excited to be working with Sinoist Books on the inaugural SinoLEEDS Sinophone Writing Festival, an annual festival celebrating some of the best writing from the Chinese-speaking world, supported with funding by Arts Council England.
This year’s theme is “From 书 to Book”, where we explore the journey a Chinese language book takes on its way into the hands of an English language reader. The event will involve author conversations, and discussions with translators and publishing professionals.
To find out more about the afternoon's program, and reserve your free tickets, please see our Eventbrite page. (You're welcome to attend individual events, or the whole afternoon!)
